For those who have been following my blog posts, Facebook updates, Tweets and all, you’ll know that I’ve been talking about Word Up spoken word and soul music event at a frenzied pace for some time now. Anyway, the show has finally held. It went down on Saturday, 18th May, 2013 at Terra Kulture and I tell, I’m proud to be part of it.
Def jam performer, Shihan Van Clief was in town, and he indeed justified his coming down all the way from the United States.
A-list Nigerians also strutted their stuff. Wordsmith like Archangel, Chris Eleri, Tofarati Gt (me), Bob Ekat, Atilola, Dolapo, Erica Leight, Bob Ekat, Ivory, Topredo Mascaw, Plumbline, Olulu, Efe Paul Azino, Enigmatic Olumide and may others.
I don’t really have much pictures now, but I just wanted to be the first to break the story (I’ll post more pictures soon).
